Graphic design
Graphic Design requires strategy and teamwork, and is extremely fun to do. There are three challenging relationships in this process:
- You / The Client
- Me / The Designer
- Everyone Else / The World
Experience:
Logo design, vector files from rough sketches, magazine ads (to spec.), animated GIFs (to spec.), and postcards. I’ve made a few websites and used wordpress and customized CSS. I collaborated with two fellow artists once to create a company to market our art, which was a fun learning experience.
Animated GIF.
Magazine Ad; 1 page split.
Logo design for music school.
Website, Wordpress.
Logo vector rendering from submitted sketch.
Promo postcard front.
Original photo for solo artist promo.
Extensive Photoshop touch-up including very subtle facial feature correction. Client did not detect the corrections (blemishes, shifting of facial construction). Client wanted it to "look like a Rembrandt".
Event Poster. This was hand signed by the performers and a message was written in the space under presents. It was given as a prize.
Brochure.
Inside had map of local installations.
